Presenter Myrka Dellanos is recognized for the work she has been developing for several years and is currently making her name stand out on ‘La Mesa Caliente’, a television program that broadcasts from Monday to Friday through Telemundo cameras.
At the same time, many of those who keep an eye on the journalist’s personal life know that at the moment she is not sharing her love life with anyone. Furthermore, she was recently present on Alejandro Chabán’s podcast and they talked not only about that topic, but also about her faith and religious beliefs.
Myrka began by saying: “It’s nice to have a life partner, a person who walks with you,” while highlighting that she doesn’t feel any kind of rush about having to look for a person to accompany her: “I feel very satisfied with my life.” and I believe that God meets all those needs.”
“Obviously he is a man of God, that he loves God above all things, because faith is so important to me, it is part of my essence and it is who I am, so that we can do and enjoy that together, that be a person who can pray for me, that if I am sick that person is there, a helpful person, a man who is kind, who is patient…
Myrka Dellanos talks about her unwavering faith
“Our whole family was Catholic, but when I was little I studied piano and my teacher always invited us to church, so one day I went with my mother, I was 7 years old, and when she arrived at that church where the pastor took a Bible and spoke precisely about the word of God, she said ‘this is what I was always looking for, to simplify the word of God for me.’ She had grown up with the nuns at her school and had always had a need for God because she lost her mother at the age of 7, being an orphan of her mother she had that extra need and she told the nuns ‘I want to read the Bible’ and they told him ‘no, no, no, that’s very difficult, that’s only for bishops and priests and maybe the pope, we can’t even do it,’” she told the Venezuelan.
“Then in his adulthood, that is, he has me and everything, he goes to this church and suddenly says ‘this is what I was always looking for, it is the easiest thing in the world that if I accept Jesus as my savior, what pays my sins, I already know where I’m going when I die… It was that easy for what the simple gospel is, so I grew up as a Christian in the evangelical church, I went to youth group on Fridays, I went to a Christian high school and “Everything,” he told Alejandro.
