To prevent inclement weather this winter season, the City of New York is looking for people willing to join as temporary workers to remove snow and ice, according to a statement from the Department of Sanitation (DSNY). ).

Workers will remove snow and ice that accumulates in different areas of the city, such as bus stops, crosswalks and fire hydrants.

Starting pay is $18 per hour and increases to $27 per hour after the first 40 hours worked in a week.
