Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has just stepped down as president of Revolt Media, a company he founded, following recent rape and sexual assault allegations against him.

The interpreter of “I’ll Be Missing You” decided to resign from his position so as not to damage the image of the company while facing all the lawsuits against him, because in less than three weeks, at least four women have accused him of violence and sexual assault, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

“Sean Combs has resigned from his position as president of Revolt. While Mr. Combs has not previously had any operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps ensure that Revolt remains firmly focused on our mission of creating culturally meaningful content and amplifying the voices of all Black people throughout of this country and the African diaspora,” the organization reported.

Revolt Media is a music television network that was founded in 2013 by the rapper and that has positioned itself as one of the media where black singers showcase new music.

Diddy’s lawyers assure that the singer is innocent and that all the accusations are false, although more complaints come out against the rapper every week after the New York court approved a law in which adults who were sexually violated when they were teenagers or children, can now file a lawsuit.
