According to the results released by the Spotify program, Wrapped, which combines and presents the numbers regarding the number of streams that are part of the platform, Un Verano Sin Ti became the most listened to album of the year with 4.5 billion views .
It should be noted that although the album was released in May 2022, its success and reach allowed it to take first place in reproductions during 2023. In addition to this, Bad Bunny became the most listened to Latin artist, globally, on Spotify, only remaining below the aforementioned Taylor Swift, who took the title from her after three years in a row thanks to the impact of her The Eras Tour and the release of her album “Midnights.”
Due to the above, the American singer achieved the impressive amount of 26.1 billion views in 2023.
In addition to the immense success achieved by Bad Bunny from the sale of the album Un Verano Sin Ti and the variety of royalties that come from it, the singer would also receive an “extra” amount from Spotify.
And according to the Digital Music News portal, the platform that also sponsors the Barcelona soccer team, pays between $0.003 and $0.005 dollars per play. Due to the above, and taking the 4.5 billion views of Un Verano Sin Ti, the Puerto Rican would be receiving close to $13 million dollars for the number of views in 2023.
