The star team match organized by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) for this December 5, has completed its constellation of stars by announcing that the Argentine José Pékerman and the Colombian Francisco ‘Pacho’ Maturana will be the coaches of both teams.
The DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale in Florida will be the setting for a night of lots of football with the match called ‘Conmebol Legends’ where former players from each South American team will fill thousands of South American fans in the United States with joy and nostalgia.
The number 1 team, whose coach will be the former Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela coach, José Néstor Pékerman, will have among the members of its squad the Argentines Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero, Gonzalo Higuaín, Oscar Ustari, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Maxi Rodríguez, Leo Ponzio, Javier Zanetti, and the Bolivian Ronald Raldes.
The Colombians Carlos ‘El Pibe’ Valderrama, Mario Yepes and Fredy Guarín, the Uruguayans Diego Godín and Sebastián Abreu, as well as the Paraguayans Paulo Da Silva, Roque Santa Cruz and Justo Villar complete the squad.
For its part, the number 2 team will be led by coach ‘Pacho’ Maturana, former coach of Colombia, Peru and Costa Rica, who will have stars of the quality of the Brazilians Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Dida, Lúcio, Maxwell and Juliano Belletti , as well as the Chileans Iván Zamorano, Jorge Valdivia, Claudio Pizarro and Marcelo Salas.
