Fortune smiled on a Virginia couple when they became millionaires overnight playing the lottery.

The husband, Jarrod Paxton, became one of the latest players in the state to win millions by playing the online game Jackpot Spectacular, the Virginia Lottery said.

Seeing the great fortune he had earned, Paxton shouted, “It can’t be!”

This scream woke up his wife, who was sleeping in the other room.

Paxton explained that he was watching a football game at the time, and the sudden commotion woke his wife and made her think something had happened at the game.

The man told his wife about the big prize, but at first, she didn’t believe him. “It’s hard to believe! “I told my wife that we had just won $1.9 million,” said the lucky winner.

Last week, Paxton visited state lottery headquarters to collect his $1.9 million prize.

According to the Virginia Lottery, Paxton’s prize is the largest in state history that anyone has ever won playing online.

Paxton told lottery officials that he still has no idea what he will do with his new fortune, although he does plan to pay off some debt and take care of his family.

The Jackpot Spectacular game, which offers a jackpot that grows over time, is available online.

The odds of winning a prize of any amount in the game are 1 in 3.99.
