The draw for the Copa América 2024 on December 7 will be preceded by an exhibition soccer match on Tuesday, December 5, organized by CONMEBOL where several legends from South America will play and there will be a special guest, the former Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt. .
This Conmebol legends event will take place at the DRV PNK Stadium of Inter Miami and will have the presence of José Néstor Pékerman and Francisco ‘Pacho’ Maturana as the coaches who will direct both sets of legends.
The athletics legend Usain Bolt, who will be part of the team led by José Néstor Pékerman and which will include legends such as Sergio el ‘Kun’ Agüero, Carlos el ‘Pibe’ Valderrama, Gonzalo Higuaín, Maxi Rodríguez and Javier Zanetti among others.
The multiple Olympic medalist will wear the number 9.58 on his number in tribute to his world record in the 100 meter dash during the Olympic Games.
Other guests at this game of Conmebol legends are some prominent Concacaf footballers, including the historic Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos, as well as Bryan Ruiz and Luis el ‘Matador’ Hernández.

The Jamaican tried to be a soccer player from a very young age and after his successful career in athletics he decided that it was time to pursue that dream, but despite his intentions, he was unable to fulfill it. “I don’t think I got a fair chance. I haven’t done things the way I wanted to do them, it’s something I think I would have been good at. But sometimes in life you fail and you have to know how to get ahead,” he declared in August 2020.
And he added: “Sometimes I tell myself that it hasn’t worked out the way I would have liked, because I love football too much. Sometimes yes, I still think about it, but as I said, these are things that you have to know how to overcome.”
