Actress Shannen Doherty revealed that earlier this year she had to undergo radiation therapy to remove a brain tumor. “I am going through stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to my bones,” the actress summarized.
He added: “The treatment is really good and is working well. It is a matter of overcoming day by day, month by month, year by year.” The protagonist of “Charmerd”, 52, made these statements in a moving interview for People magazine.
Despite the hard moment, Doherty assures that he is not afraid of death: “I know where I am going. I know the people I’m going to see. “I think he would be afraid to die if he wasn’t a good person, but I am,” he explained. And he pointed out: “I don’t want to die. That is the difference. I’m not afraid to die. “I just don’t want to do it.”
“I discovered in January that there were cancer cells in my brain, so we had to do radiation therapy to remove one of the tumors, which I named Bob. Finally, he could be removed and was dissected to establish his conformation. Then, I had to continue with the radiation therapy for a while longer. So it’s been a journey. “It was definitely one of the most terrifying things I have ever experienced,” he said.
The star of Beverly Hills 90210 was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and after undergoing a mastectomy, and chemo and radiotherapy sessions, she announced in 2017 that the cancer had gone into remission. Three years later, the disease returned and spread, so doctors explained that she had entered stage 4.
