In an interview where she referred to her family life and her return to acting, Cameron Diaz also dared to talk about romantic relationships and addressed an issue that she herself raised: that it is “normalized” for married couples to sleep in Separate rooms.

Every relationship is a world. There are couples who choose to live together, while there are those who prefer that each one have their own home. Likewise, in marriage, there are some who feel comfortable sleeping in the same bed and there are others who prefer to have separate rooms, but under the same roof. Each person determines what best benefits each person’s interests.

A few days ago, the actress spoke out about an opinion she has regarding this issue and that she herself raised at the time.

Diaz was, along with her friend and partner, Katherine Power, on the podcast “Lipstick on the Rim” (Spotify), hosted by Molly Sims and Emese Gormley. The talk had a little bit of everything, from rumors that pointed to a fight between the actress and Jamie Foxx, to Cameron’s desire to return to acting and the arrival of her daughter Raddix Madden Diaz.

At one point during the conversation, one of the women revealed that her husband was snoring and it was then that Cameron did not remain silent and had a forceful position on the matter. “We should normalize separate bedrooms,” she maintained.

Laughing, one of her colleagues told her about the repercussions that her statements could have, but Cameron Diaz, far from worrying, acknowledged: “I already said it.” And she even admitted with a laugh: “By the way, I don’t feel that way now because my husband is wonderful. “I said it before I got married.”

It is worth mentioning that in 2015 the actress married musician Benji Madden.
