At no time has the American actress Sydney Sweeney denied her origins, she even usually takes advantage of the interviews she does to highlight that she comes from a humble family and that during her childhood she went through bad economic times.

She was recently interviewed on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, as part of the promotion of the film ‘Anyone But You’, and explained that last year she bought a house that belonged to her family.

Sweeney explained that the property is important to her and her family because it is the house where her grandmother and mother were born. She says that her great-grandmother and great-grandfather managed to expand the property and built a second house, with the intention that part of the family would have a roof over their heads.

“When my great-grandfather passed away and my great-grandmother got older, they just couldn’t afford to keep it,” she said on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show.’

The house was not for sale, so he personally called the owners to offer them money for the property that belonged to his family for years.

It should be noted that a few weeks ago she declared that her family had to declare bankruptcy when they moved from Idaho to California so that she could start her career, which is currently enviable.

At the beginning of last year he gave an interview to ‘The Independent’ where he confessed that he grew up in a very humble house without internet. At that time the actress was receiving bad comments for the role she plays in ‘Euphoria’, the original HBO series.

Her success after ‘Euphoria’ and other productions has meant that she can invest money in several homes in addition to the one that belonged to her great-grandmother.

One of the properties is in Los Angeles for $3 million dollars and is described by herself as her “Snow White Castle.”

Sweeney is part of the cast of: ‘The Voyeurs’ (Amazon), ‘Euphoria’ (HBO), ‘The White Lotus’ (HBO), ‘Everything Sucks!’ (Netflix), ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ (Hulu) and ‘Sharp Objets’ (HBO). She most recently released ‘Anyone But You’, a film in which she stars alongside Glen Powell.
