Alfredo Adame has been the subject of various controversies in the past, and on this occasion he has involved his ex-girlfriend Magaly Chávez by saying that she is not biologically a woman. These statements have generated indignation in her, who has decided to take action in this regard and go to the civil registry to confirm her gender.

The event has generated a public debate about intolerance and lack of respect towards people’s gender identity. Many have criticized Adame for her discriminatory attitude and for insensitively using her ex-girlfriend’s personal situation for media purposes.

The former ‘Falling in Love’ contestant decided to use her social networks to make a public clarification about her sexuality. The event was recorded after Adame’s statements in which she made fun of Magaly for supposedly not being a woman. In turn, she decided to share her birth certificate from the Public Registry of Pachuca, in Mexico, where it states that she is female.

The ex of the ‘La Casa de los Famosos 4’ participant couldn’t help but say that everything they experienced together was put together to live on appearances and try to positively change everything that had been said about him, although it seems that it didn’t work .

“To continue denying several things because it is not worth telling lies (…) all of this (the romance) was a setup to clean up the man’s image, but never stand up for someone you don’t know (…) Nobody paid me , I was going to get more work, that’s all I can tell you, but this favor literally cost me a lot. It was to clean up the image of a man who I thought had a fix,” added Chávez.

It is important to remember that respect and acceptance of all gender identities are fundamental to building an inclusive and equitable society. Each individual has the right to be recognized and respected according to their gender identity, and it is not in anyone else’s hands to question or deny a person’s reality.
