In the first week of the ‘Hoy Día Bailamos’ competition, Cuban Osmel Sousa has become one of the most controversial characters on the show, due to his criticisms, which have been full of sarcasm for the famous participants.

The ‘Beauty Czar’, as he is known, has made harsh comments after the participation of several of the contestants. One of the most viral was the reaction he had to the dance of the Venezuelan actress Daniella Navarro, also known for having participated in the second season of ‘La Casa de los Famosos’.

After the bachata that he danced, the misses expert said that he did not like the presentation very much, because he considered that what was seen in dance was not much.

“I’m not giving you anything because I didn’t see anything,” he said. Given this, the artist responded: “The truth is that she can’t say much because she doesn’t know much either, eh.”

Osmel Sousa did not remain silent and replied: “Girl, do you know how many Miss Universes I have made?” Daniela, upon hearing it, became uncomfortable: “Yes, but Miss Universe, this is dancing.”

The main reason that the Cuban emphasized is that the Venezuelan does not project on stage and that is why he did not like her dance. Furthermore, he advised her to work on this aspect to shine in future presentations.

But this is not the only controversial episode that the beauty expert has been involved in, as he also had a run-in with Beta Mejía, a Colombian influencer who danced to the song ‘Gasolina’, by Daddy Yankee, on the track ‘Hoy Día Bailamos’.

“I know that you have a very worked-out body in the gym, but this is dancing, it is not a parade,” he commented.

The content creator, upon listening to Osmel, responded: “No, it is different, it is not a parade, dance is an artistic expression of what one feels inside, your dance is to stay still, mine is to move, jump, what man is used to doing. I know that your thing is about prehistory and staying still, but this is an urban genre.”

This competition has served to let the public know a different facet of its artists, who seek to give everything to win.

The group of competitors is made up of Jessica Cediel, Nicky Chávez, Gisella Aboumrad, Daniella Navarro, Jorge Aravena, Ojani Noa and Beta Mejías.

In addition, the jury is made up of Osmel Sousa, Aylín Mujica and the Spanish dancer Toni Costa.
