Two Tiktok videos have gone viral because they expose that Marshalls has very questionable sales policies, such as selling discounted products, which in other places would be thrown in the trash due to their poor conditions.
Tiktok videos show that Marshalls is selling “hazardous materials” in its yellow label campaign, where it discounts items that are in very poor condition and that can represent a risk to consumers, since it has products that even have fungi.
The videos have raised concerns among users and have already accumulated millions of views and negative comments towards the store chain.
Last month, @jennyy_sandoval posted a video saying “We were disappointed,” referring to the products that were being sold on sale.
The video shows items with empty, open or used packaging or that pose health risks to customers.
“Fifty cents (for) a mask? Oh, it has fungus,” the woman says, as she shows the container of face cream with brown and black spots on the top of the product.
In another video, Jenny followed up on the yellow label campaign, showing used hair products, bottles of skin care supplements without lids, capsules scattered on the shelves, and even earrings for sale that are missing. one of the pair.
“No, wait, this is my favorite, (only) a dollar?” he says as he picks up a container of Brazil Bliss body cream on the shelf, but upon opening it, he notices that the product is almost empty.
And in the comments, while some say buyers should sue, employees and former employees point out that managers order defective products to be put up for sale under the slogan “someone will buy it.”
Another former worker commented: “When I worked at TJ Maxx, I literally had to sneak around and throw things away because my managers made us keep everything.”
