In just a few weeks, forward Salomón Rondón went from experiencing a difficult adaptation in Argentina with River Plate to shining in Liga MX with Pachuca. Well, the Venezuelan is being the star of the Tuzos at the beginning of the campaign.

There are already three goals in three games that the Venezuelan has played as a player for the Mexican team. In the last match against Atlas, the Caracas striker scored a double and took home his second MVP award of the game.

Pachuca is currently in eighth position in Liga MX at the start of the season. “Salo” is undoubtedly being an important piece in the offensive of the Mexican team, leaving behind the difficult adaptation, which according to the player himself, he had in River Plate.

After spending all of 2022 with very little activity at Everton in England, Rondón arrived at River Plate as a major signing and with the help of his former teammate at Málaga CF Martín Demichelis. In 31 games, 16 of them as a starter, Salomón finished with 10 points.

However, despite not having bad numbers, it seems that the adaptation of both the player and his family in the South American country was not ideal and he preferred to leave the Millonario club, even putting money out of his pocket to terminate his contract.

That is when he arrives at the Tuzos with a contract that will extend until the end of 2025. For the moment, the Venezuelan continues to shine on Mexican lands, where it seems that he was able to fit in and adapt to have a better performance on the field.

Salomón will look for another title to win in Mexico

At 34 years old, Salomón has had a great career in Europe, he became champion in leagues such as the Russian one with Zenit and in his short time in Buenos Aires he also managed to win the champion’s medal with River Plate in the Argentine league.

Now in Liga MX he will seek to expand his showcase and win a new title with Pachuca. Los Tuzos is one of the teams with the most tradition in Mexico and currently holds 7 championships, the last in the Apertura 2022 and now with the help of their star forward they will seek a new trophy.
