The American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift made history this Sunday at the 2024 Grammy Awards by becoming the first artist to reach the record of four accumulated awards in the Album of the Year category, thanks to her album ‘Midnights’.
One of the great surprises of the night, to announce the most important shortlist of the event, the best album of the year, which was in the hands of the charismatic blonde, was the appearance on stage of the singer Celine Dion, who is battling stiff person syndrome.
“I would love to tell you that this is the best moment of my life, but I feel happy when I finish a song, or when I decipher the scale of a composition that I love, or when I am pre-selecting a music video, or when I am rehearsing with my dancers or with the band, preparing to go to Tokyo to play a show. For me the prize is work. All I want to do is keep doing this. I love it. “It’s a lot, it makes me very happy,” Taylor said.
It should be noted that, by obtaining this award (the 14th in her career), the American composer and singer left behind important music legends such as Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder, who have three awards.
