For a limited time or while supplies last, McDonald’s is bringing back two products this season: Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry with a touch of mint that fans of the burger giant love.
The Shamrock Shake is a green, mint-tinged shake that’s available this week, according to food launch expert @snackolator.
The reason for this green drink is nothing more than the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, which is celebrated on March 17. Although this time the launch of the Shamrock Shake was earlier, since in 2023 it took place on February 20.
The Shamrock Shake debuted on the McDonald’s menu in 1970, and is made with vanilla soft serve ice cream, artificially flavored spearmint syrup, and whipped topping. The prices of this drink depend on its size and are between $3 dollars to $4 dollars, indicates USA Today.
According to social media users, the Shamrock Shake is legendary for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. While the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which is served with crushed cookies, was added to the menu in February 2020, when the Shamrock Shake celebrated 50 years of its launch on the market.
