A man escaped from New York Police Department (NYPD) custody by walking out a side door at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, officials said Sunday.
Authorities are asking the public for help in finding Christopher Miller, 23, after he fled from Kips Bay around 3:50 a.m. Saturday.
The suspect had been detained on a warrant, although officers did not mention what crime the warrant is related to.
Likewise, the NYPD released an image from Miller’s security cameras on Sunday. He is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 160 pounds with black hair. He was dressed in a gray tracksuit with hearts and a black cane when he escaped.
Miller resides in Harlem, according to officials and the Daily News.
