Although we still have a few more weeks of winter left, everything seems to indicate that in terms of climate, little by little the low temperatures and storms will subside in some parts of the United States, thus awaiting the start of an early spring.
Many speculate about how spring will come, taking into account some projections from renowned climate experts and institutions that are dedicated to meteorology issues; But there are those who also turn to more traditional things, such as the Old Farmer’s Almanac, a publication that has been very useful for more than a century, precisely to know what will lie ahead for us on these issues.
And precisely, we already have the prediction of what the weather looks like for the spring of 2024, where everything seems to indicate that in a large part of the country it will be somewhat early.
Let us remember that spring will begin on March 19, 2024 and according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, the weather for the first season of the year will be as follows:
“Spring, as a whole, has the potential to be warmer than normal across much of the United States, with some exceptions.”
In the Southwest, Florida and Appalachia, average temperatures are expected. However, the forecast continues with parts of the Upper Midwest, the Intermountain Region, and parts of Oklahoma and Texas potentially experiencing “below normal temperatures.”
The Old Farmer’s Almanac also notes that colder air is likely spreading over the Rocky Mountains, Mid-Atlantic and Appalachians, which could lead to “normal to above-normal precipitation” that could occur across the country.
Likewise, he shared that there are likely to be “above average temperatures in March” along the East Coast, and we can also expect to have a dry month.
Finally, he emphasizes that there may be “warmer than normal from New England to Florida” during the month of April.
