Despite the “bad” relationship that exists between actress Laura Zapata and Mexican singer Thalía, the performer of several Mexican soap operas reacted with concern to the recent illness that Thalía was diagnosed with: dysgeusia.

It is worth remembering that a few weeks ago, the “Who Cares” interpreter revealed, through her official Instagram account, that she was diagnosed with dysgeusia, a disease characterized by altering the patient’s taste and providing a constant “flavor” to salt and metal throughout the time.

Given this, Thalía herself revealed that this disorder could arise from her Covid-19 illness. However, despite technological advances in the field of health, the singer revealed that there is no specific cure to treat dysgeusia, and that it could remain in her body for an indefinite period of time.

After being questioned about Thalía’s illness, Laura Zapata left all “rivalry” and “enmity” behind and mentioned feeling worried about her sister.

I really wish him to recover (it’s serious, it’s not a joke or anything) his sense of taste, because human beings who lose some of their senses, the senses are those that contact the outside, well imagine… and “She is so pretty, so cool and so successful.”

It is worth mentioning that in previous interviews, the Mexican actress has made it clear that she does not answer questions related to Thalía or another member of her family.

It is important to explain that the “lawsuit” between Laura Zapata and Thalía is not new or recent at all. And after the kidnapping of the Mexican actress and her half-sister, Ernestina Sodi, in 2002, the family “collapsed.” Years later, Yolanda Andrade revealed that Thalía supported Zapata, something that the Mexican actress flatly denied.

This statement caused Laura herself to ask Thalía to deny Andrade, to which Thalía responded that it was not her “issue.”

However, the real “breakup” occurred after the death of Yolanda Miranda Mange, Zapata’s mother. And according to Laura, when she asked Thalía if she would attend Miranda Mange’s funeral, the “Amor a la Mexicana” interpreter responded that she would not go due to a series of circumstances. This, logically, caused “pain and anger in Zapata.

Due to the above, Laura Zapata decided to “cut off” all relations with her sister and remain “disconnected” from her. Meanwhile, Thalía has decided to remain silent about this family conflict and focus on her career.
