KFC launches a new creation, the Chizza that combines the flavors of fried chicken and pizza in a dish that is served with two fried chicken tenders, 100% Extra Crispy white meat, topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese and crispy pepperoni.
Nick Chávez, CMO of the brand in the country, explains that “fried chicken and pizza have come together to create something even better: Chizza.”
“The fan-favorite blend is finally available in the US after making its way around the world. Try it while you can!,” she adds.
Enjoy the Chizza on its own or elevate the experience with the combo, which includes the Chizza, Secret Recipe Fries, and a medium drink.
A “Chizzeria” in New York
The international hit, Chizza (“chit-sa”), will be available in the United States starting February 26 for a limited time. While on February 23 and 24 from 1 to 9 pm, this new product will be served as a single dish at the KFC restaurant at 242 E 14th St. in New York.
The location will temporarily become a “Chizzeria” that will serve a single product: Chizza!. This new creation from KFC originates in 2015 in the Philippines, where it successfully debuted on the menu.
Over time, this KFC exclusivity has traveled around the world, reaching Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Germany, Spain and Mexico, among other countries and now, for the first time, in the United States, a statement indicates. .
The fast food chain also announced the temporary return to KFC restaurants across the country of blackberry lemonade, a fruity and sour drink perfect for combining the Chizza combo.
The KFC app will be available to order your Chizza in advance and skip the line to pick it up at the KFC Quick Pick-Up shelf.
