The name of Selena Quintanilla has not stopped ringing in recent weeks and it is all due to the premiere that took place on February 17 of the documentary that Oxygen released and is called ‘Selena & Yolanda: The Secrets Between Them‘. In addition, Yolanda Saldívar revealed several details about the life of the singer she murdered.

However, now an interview that was done in ‘Primer Impacto’ with Abraham Quintanilla in 2018 came to light, where he undoubtedly ended up talking about the person who killed his daughter on March 31, 1995.

“I think she is in a safer place, because 23 years later they have her alone in a cell, solitary. They have not let her go to the prison population, because they know they will kill her there. And if they release her right now to the cities here, you know how the world is right now, that there are many crazy people (and) they can kill her,” were part of the statements she offered to Tony Dandrades, journalist and presenter.

The singer’s father mentioned that there was a time when he kept receiving letters from some of her fans, but the peculiarity was that they were imprisoned and he would not be afraid to commit another crime if possible. Let us remember that Saldívar has always said that everything was an alleged accident.

“We still receive letters from women who are in that prison, where she is, and they say that they are waiting for her, that they are going to kill her. Because there are bad women there, women who have killed before and that is why they are there, women who no longer have anything to lose,” Abraham explained.

However, this year there was a more recent statement he made to TMZ, but this time referring to the material that will be released a week ago by Oxygen: “Everything she says is nothing but lies, and anyway No one is going to believe what she has to say. What more do you have to say that she hasn’t already said. Everyone knows that there is no truth in everything that comes out of her mouth.”
