FC Barcelona seems to have regained its competitive level and continues to obtain positive results, as demonstrated in its 4-0 victory over Getafe on Saturday at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, in Barcelona, Spain.

The team showed comfortable football without suffering, with moments of good play, highlighting the performance of the Brazilian Raphinha, who was the great protagonist with intensity, scoring the first goal and providing an assist in the third.

Although Getafe had the first opportunity with a shot by Mason Greenwood from outside the area, which was stopped by Ter Stegen after six minutes, Barcelona began to control the ball and dominate the match, despite Getafe’s pressure.

Raphinha, motivated after returning from injury, opened the scoring in the 20th minute after receiving a pass from Koundé and running towards the rival goal to elegantly score the 1-0 lead.

Already in the second half, Barcelona maintained its strategy of filtering long balls into space to overcome Getafe’s high pressure, which resulted in the second goal in the 53rd minute of the match. It was Joao Félix who made it 2-0 after a surprising exit from Christensen who entered the area from the right and sent the assist to the Portuguese, who finished off the goal at the far post.

Barcelona maintained the pace and pressure of the game and in the 61st minute the Dutchman Frenkie de Jong scored 3-0, which was his second goal this season.

The Blaugranas lowered their pressure with the game practically closed, but youth player Fermín López was in charge of closing the score at 4-0 after grabbing a rebound from a first shot by Vitor Roque rejected by the goalkeeper.

With this victory, Barcelona provisionally places itself in second place in the LaLiga standings, in a match that was one of the best in a long time for the Barça team.
