Luck was on the side of a hotel worker from the city of Silver Spring, in the state of Maryland, in a way that not even he himself could imagine. And, after receiving a generous tip of $500 from his employer, he decided to share $350 with his family and with the rest bought three scratch-off tickets for the game ’50 Years!’ at a local store.

When buying the tickets, the player said that the employee told him that this would be his lucky day.

Although at first it seemed that luck was not on his side, as he did not win anything in the first two tickets, the third ticket gave him a surprise.

At first, the man thought he had won $1,000, but upon checking the ticket with the store employee, he discovered that he had actually won $50,000.

“You didn’t win $1,000. “You have a winning ticket of $50,000,” the employee told him.

With the prize, the player plans to pay off some debts and financially support his family.

The game ’50 Years!’ It is the first Maryland Lottery to offer a $50 scratch-off game, with prizes reaching up to $5 million.

To date, two of the top three prizes have been claimed.
