Pablo Alborán at Madison Square Garden

The Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán has been touring the United States with his “La cu4rta Hoja” tour, and this Friday, March 1, he arrives at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The man from Malaga has been the best-selling artist in Spain in seven non-consecutive years, with 43 platinum albums from his sales. Soledad López returns to the Thalia Theater

The award-winning Spanish actress Soledad López returns with her play “We Do It Better Than Men,” a funny comedy about the relationships between women and men. Norte Maar, a Brooklyn-based arts organization that is celebrating 20 years of creating, promoting and presenting collaborations in the visual, literary and performing arts, presents the 11th annual season of Counterpointe11, March 1-3, a series of curated performances of newly commissioned choreographic works from female dance artists. Brooklyn’s The Mark O’Donnell Theater at Entertainment Community Fund will once again host the work of seven female choreographers who have been paired with seven female visual artists to collaborate and create both a new physical and visual work each, investigating the process of creation, inspiration and development in live performance. The Teatro Fest NYC 2024 starts

The NY Latino Theater Alliance kicks off its Teatro Fest NYC 2024 this week, a festival of live theater, dance, music, puppetry and conversations with Latin artists in The Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. This year it will have 23 productions and 141 performances, in 9 Latin theaters from March 1 to April 30. The festival includes world premieres as well as revivals of celebrated plays and other exciting cultural offerings from New York’s rich Latino community. Teatro Fest NYC 2024 is a collaboration between the main and most prestigious Latin theater companies in the city, such as Teatro Círculo, Teatro IATI, International Art Relations (INTAR), Teatro LATEA, Teatro Pregones, Repertorio Español, Teatro SEA and Teatro Thalía . Good sauce at the Lehman Center

The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts presents this Saturday, March 2, the legendary Andy Montañez and his “Toda una Vida Concerto.” Montañez, baptized as “The Godfather of Salsa” and known for his powerful voice, will be celebrating his 60th anniversary. Along with him will be Tito Puente Jr. and his Orchestra, who will be commemorating the centenary of the “King of Latin Music”, Tito Puente, in a tribute show together with the dancers Eddie Torres Jr. The show is also complemented by El Trío Ideal by Johnny Olivio and Herencia de Plena, a prominent Puerto Rican traditional music group. “March Is Music” concert series kicks off

The electrifying “March Is Music” concert series returns to the Bronx, March 2-30, with nine dynamic performances by world-renowned artists spanning Latin, jazz, fusion and classical genres. The feminine salsa of Lulada Club

The Lulada Club collective transplants the sparkle and excitement of salsa from Cali, Colombia, directly to the heart of New York City. One of the few all-female bands in the genre, with their unique energy will be performing next Wednesday, March 6, as part of Lincoln Center Moments, a program of free performances designed especially for people with dementia and their caregivers. The 11:00 am shows are designed for a neurodiverse audience. Additionally, these performances are also open to adults with developmental disabilities. The Roof at Public, a popular gathering spot since its opening in 2017, will now host “Sunset,” a special Happy Hour, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
