A resident of the city of Wooster, in the state of Ohio, turned a small lottery victory into a million-dollar prize. Identified only as Tim, the lucky player first won $50, but that led to a $1 million prize, according to the Ohio Lottery.

Initially, Tim had $30, but he wanted to buy a $50 ’50th Anniversary’ game.

It was then that the man decided to take a ticket of only $20 dollars, and to his surprise, he took home a prize of $50 dollars, which was just what he needed to buy the other game.

When he finally scratched off the ’50th Anniversary’ game, he discovered that he had won nothing less than the $1 million dollar jackpot.

“When I saw the prize, I almost fainted!” said the lucky winner, who had to ask the store clerk to scan his ticket to confirm the amazing prize.

The player decided to receive a single immediate cash payment of only $500,000. After paying taxes he was left with $360,000.

The other option he had to collect was to receive the full million dollars, but in small payments of $40,000 annually over 25 years.

Tim plans to use his new fortune to buy a new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
