The information was released by the National Prosecutor’s Office: “It is confirmed that the body found in Maipú corresponds to former Venezuelan military officer Ronald Ojeda.”

For the murder of Ronald Ojeda, the authorities detained a 17-year-old Venezuelan teenager, whose hearing will take place this Saturday. “Simultaneously, there are two other arrest warrants in force,” added the Prosecutor’s Office.
In statements to the press, prosecutor Héctor Barros, in charge of the case, confirmed the information.
“The investigations have been carried out on the body found in the afternoon by the Investigative Police and we can finally, based on the tests that were carried out, confirm that they correspond to Ronald Ojeda, who had been a victim of kidnapping,” he stated.
He indicated that the approximate date of death, according to forensic doctors, is between seven and 10 days. This, the prosecutor highlighted, also coincides with the date on which the kidnapping occurred.
