After AC Milan’s 1-0 victory against Lazio in Serie A on Friday, Christian Pulisic, the Rossonero team’s American winger, was attacked on his social networks.

Pulisic was attacked by an avalanche of insults and even death threats on his social networks.

The American midfielder posted photos on Instagram showing him and his teammates celebrating after the game. The publication was filled with offensive comments.

Milan’s victory was full of controversy, as Lazio finished the game with eight men and Pulisic was involved in two of the three expulsions.

Luca Pellegrini was sent off in the 67th minute after two yellow cards, each for a foul on Pulisic, and Matteo Guendouzi received a straight red card in stoppage time.

Lazio defender Adam Marušic was also sent off.

Pulisic joined Milan from Chelsea in the pre-season break. He has seven goals and six assists in 25 league games.

Pulisic said no to MLS

A few months ago Pulisic spoke a little about his future, in which he highlighted that he is not yet thinking about playing in his country’s Major League Soccer (MLS), as he does not consider himself an old player.

And he indicated: “Obviously I am not an old player. Hopefully I will have some great seasons here in Europe ahead of me. I’m loving my time here, so sure, MLS isn’t on my mind at the moment, but yes, at the end of my career? Clear”.

In an interview with The Athletic, the Stars and Stripes star also spoke a little about the pressure that comes with playing that role in the United States team.

And he highlighted: “I have had difficulties with that. It’s not something that affects my day to day life. I think I’m a pretty simple guy. I’m not in public all the time, so it doesn’t affect me. I’m training every day. I come home and I can relax and talk to the people who are close to me and the people I love, so it’s not something that bothers me in any way. “It’s just a little bit of getting used to and I’m really grateful to have the platform to do what I want to do.”
