Boxer Ryan García is not going through the best moment of his boxing career. After having allegedly appeared drunk at the presentation of his next fight against Devin Haney, the fighter now had a strange moment announcing his death on social networks with several intriguing and explicit messages.
García alerted all his fans on social networks when he published a message on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday stating that he was dead and that he had been the victim of a cut throat.
As if that were not enough, the message mentioned that his body would never be found and also included other strange texts that caused shock to all his followers.
“We got it guys. Ryan Garcia, may he rest in peace. “Dog… we cut Ryan García’s throat and no one will find him,” read X.
Despite the uncertainty of the message, the one of Mexican descent appeared hours later in a video to ensure that he is well and alive.
In it he explains without any details that he is without a phone, without social networks and without access to his bank accounts, but in perfect condition.
“Hi guys, I’m Ryan. I come here to explain what is happening. I don’t have my phone in possession, I can’t access my Instagram. My cards are blocked. I’m really taking advantage of it,” García commented at first.
He later indicated that he is not dead, that he clings to his beliefs and that for that reason he recorded himself to clarify any issue.
“Personally I would like to send a video to the people who love me and my fans, to the family who is worried that I am okay. I’m not dead, I believe in Jesus, all those (network rumors) are lies. “I don’t know what’s happening, but I know I’m fine,” he added.
His statement coincides with that of his ex-wife who had spoken with him minutes after the intriguing messages and also confirmed that the boxer was fine.
The comments in recent weeks, including the current incident, have worried those around García, but in the case of his father and coach, Henry García, he indicated that everything he does is done to “joke” although “in the wrong sense.”
In the midst of the controversy, Ryan García hopes to be fit and ready for the next professional challenge of his career by facing Devin Haney next Saturday, April 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, for the dispute for the World Council super lightweight belt. of Boxing, although recently the Hispanic said that he hopes that the venue can be changed to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
