María Rojo exhibits alleged mistreatment by Alejandro González Iñárritu of extras from “Bardo”

With several decades of artistic career, María Rojo has worked with great actors and directors; However, she resists being in a project directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and reveals the powerful reason.

In an interview with Jorge “EL Burro” Van Rankin’s YouTube program, the actress opened up about the scandal in which the filmmaker was involved in 2021 when he was accused of mistreating the extras of his film “Bardo” and confessed that, although he admires his work, he could not collaborate with someone who does not take care of his cast.

“I do like his work, I’m sorry, but I couldn’t work with him. He is a genius, but a genius should not treat the people who work for him badly, especially if you are as intelligent as him. He should not treat her badly or make hell out of everything he films,” María said.

Finally, the first actress acknowledged that, although she was never in contact with the actors who accused Iñárritu, she was able to find out about all the things that the director did to them, including the demand they made to the Mexican for apparently having them in the room for hours. same position and not letting them eat or go to the bathroom.
