Products for skin care, travel, pet food and even nutritional supplements will be part of the gift bags that will be given to the Oscar nominees in the main categories. This year’s purse is valued at $125,000, The Guardian reported.
As has become tradition, the marketing agency Distinctive Assetswill hand out gift bags, under the slogan “everyone wins” to recognize the contenders in the categories of Best Director, Best Actor and Actress, and Best Supporting Actor and Actress.
Each package will contain a considerable amount of cat food, as each nominee will be provided with a food supply batch from Canadian dehydrated food brand Smack. It was also revealed that for each gift bag, ten thousand packages of canine food, from the V-Dog company, will be donated to Peta’s Global Compassion Fund, whose mission is to eradicate animal cruelty and neglect.
In addition to the above, nominees will also be able to enjoy hygiene and health items such as: liver pills, topical glutathione and microneedles; There will also be a variety of snacks such as: cashew cookies (gluten-free) and cherry-flavored gummies (sugar-free).
The goodie bag included items such as portable bag seats, household items and electronics (blenders and a grill), as well as free remodeling consultations.
The already considered consolation prize for nominated stars opted to offer a fully paid vacation to three locations around the world: the Swiss chalet, a holistic wellness retreat 100 miles from Hollywood, and three nights on the beaches of St. Barthelemy, France.
In addition to all the aforementioned products, the packages will also include a 3D bobblehead selfie figurine, made by the Doopplikit brand.
Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, Paul Giamatti, Cilian Murphy, Jeffrey Wright, Annette Bening, Lily Gladstone, Sandra Hüller, Carey Mulligan, Emma Stone, Sterling K. Brown, Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr., Ryan Gosling, Mark Ruffalo, Emily Blunt, Danielle Brooks, America Ferrera, Jodie Foster, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Justine Triet, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Yorgos Lanthimos and Jonathan Glazer will be the recipients of the luxurious gift bag, the agency confirmed.
The prize package will be delivered individually and is outside the organization of the Academy.
