The US authorities would have detained the Venezuelan migrant Leonel Moreno, known on social networks as Leito Oficial, days after he incited them to invade abandoned houses in the country. The information was published by Bell Melugin, a national reporter for Fox News.
According to Meluguin, an ICE official informed him that the foreigner was captured this Friday by officers of the Fugitive Operations team in Columbus, Ohio, and that he is currently in federal custody.
“ICE tells Fox that Moreno crossed into the United States illegally in April 2022. He was released under alternatives to detention and was instructed to report to ICE within 60 days, but he never did,” the Fox News reporter noted. .
He added: “Since then, Moreno has been posting viral videos on TikTok, including urging other illegal aliens to occupy American homes.”
Bell Melugin said authorities will make a statement this Friday regarding his arrest.
