Participating 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway stores across the U.S. announced they will offer solar eclipse glasses for excellent viewing quality and pizza deals for the April 8 astronomical event.
As Americans prepare for the cosmic event of the century, 7-Eleven, Inc. is ready to provide customers with all the items needed to enjoy the long-awaited astronomical phenomenon, from $3 pizza to solar eclipse glasses.
“At 7-Eleven, we pride ourselves on being there for our customers on every occasion, both big and small, including notable moments like a total eclipse,” said Marissa Jarratt, executive vice president, chief marketing and sustainability officer.
“Our stores are open and ready to serve those who make the trip in search of a privileged place to observe the sensation of the sun,” added Jarratt.
Customers who want to safely appreciate this natural phenomenon can purchase solar glasses at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.
Additionally, subscribers to 7NOW Gold Pass TM, the retailer’s subscription delivery service, can add a free pair of solar eclipse curtains with any order placed between April 4 and 8, while supplies last.
7-Eleven notes that “Like any special occasion, an extraordinary circumstance like a total eclipse requires something equally circular and spectacular: pizza!”
To celebrate, 7NOW Gold Pass subscribers can get a whole pizza for just $3 all day on April 8 (restrictions apply). 7NOW Gold Pass allows subscribers to receive free delivery, double rewards points, and more member benefits for just $6.95 per month.
Customers watching the entire event from home can receive snacks and drinks through 7NOW Delivery, available throughout the U.S. with real-time tracking that lets customers know when to expect their orders, typically within about 30 minutes.
