The Brazilian player Éder Militao returned to a Real Madrid squad after seven months and 18 days, after suffering an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on the first day of LaLiga EA Sports, against Athletic Club in San Mamés. This Saturday, Militao will once again face Athletic Club, the same rival against which he was injured, after a long recovery process.

Despite not being in his best physical shape due to the downtime, Militao will be able to be part of the team in the match against Athletic Club this Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu. The decision to include him in the squad was made in consensus with coach Ancelotti and the club’s doctors. Although it is not guaranteed that Militao will have minutes in the game, Ancelotti does not rule out that possibility.

The call also includes three other novelties with respect to the last match against Osasuna on Saturday, March 16: the absence of the Brazilian Vinícius Junior and the returns of the Englishman Jude Bellingham and Dani Ceballos.

Vinícius is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, while Bellingham has served his two-match suspension for a previous expulsion.

For his part, Dani Ceballos has recovered from a muscle overload he suffered before the match against Osasuna.
