The Spanish defender of FC Barcelona, Iñigo Martínez had an altercation with a so-called tiktoker at the end of the Catalan team’s training session.
The culé central defender confronted a young fan who insulted him when he was leaving the Ciudad Deportiva in his vehicle and everything was recorded in a video recorded by a fan.
“The last time you called me stupid, did you hear me? Last time you called me stupid. The last one you insult me. And your friend the same. “I’ll warn you,” the footballer reprimanded him.
“And don’t be cocky, because I’m mad at God,” the footballer ended up saying in a dialectical confrontation, which could have ended in something more fruit of the high tension.
There are many people who come to the door of the Ciudad Deportiva every day looking for a video that will give them “likes” and views on social networks.
The players have already reported that they receive insults and disrespect in an attempt to make them lose control and today they have achieved it with Iñigo. Many times, they even ask them to sign autographs on papers or t-shirts and then resell them online.
Recurring problem at FC Barcelona
In the past other players such as Robert Lewandwski or Samuel Umtiti have suffered incidents outside the Barça facilities.
The Polish forward had a valuable watch stolen while he was signing autographs while the French defender in 2021 had some fans climb on the hood of his vehicle to which he got out to reprimand his attitude: “Do you know what respect is?” Umtiti said to the men who had gotten into his car.
At the beginning of this season, Joao Cancelo already starred in an episode in which he called some fans “pests” for being “here every day.” Later, he explained on his networks that they chase them in training or when they go out to dinner with their families with the intention of getting autographs on t-shirts that they later sell.
“First of all, they are not fans, they are 20-year-old ‘kids’ who are there every day, whether at the door of the training center or when I am with my daughter in the park or at a simple dinner with my girlfriend” , wrote.
