Luis Rubiales, former president of the Royal Spanish Federation (RFEF), assured this Tuesday that all the money he has received in life has been the result of his work and savings and was not alleged bribes as has been rumored since the investigation of the Justice of Spain on alleged false contracts of those registered during their stay in the football entity.
In an interview given to La Sexta, Rubiales denied the accusations that have been made against him related to alleged acts of corruption.
“I am here to say that it is a lie that he has made a difference with apartments and a baseball team here (in the Dominican Republic). “They have said that I have a baseball team, I don’t know if with the intention of saying that I was diverting money in some way,” he noted.
The money in your accounts
Likewise, Rubiales described as slander the speculation by some media outlets about the money he has in his bank accounts.
“It is a lie that he hit a ball in Cape Verde. It is a lie that I have land for the construction of hotels in Saudi Arabia. All that has been said. “What the judge says, what the UCO (Central Operational Unit of the Civil Guard) has investigated, I don’t know because I don’t know if it has a direct relationship, I hope not, with leaks with some statements that the media have made,” she added.
Rubiales wanted to make it clear where his money comes from: “The statements made by the media and the money I had in my accounts have nothing to do with it. The money in my accounts is the product of my work and my savings.”
