Adamari López, Puerto Rican television presenter, spoke on the program ‘Desiguales’, broadcast by the Univision television network, about her divorce from Toni Costa and confessed that she felt like a failure due to the end of this relationship.
In the entertainment show, in which they talk about different current topics, the Puerto Rican woman opened her heart about her experience after separating from the Spanish dancer.
“I feel, perhaps because of my age, that at the time I saw it as a failure, as a loss, something that I did not expect. “I believe that I fulfilled myself professionally and that I enjoyed it a lot before making the decision to get married and I thought that I was marrying for life,” she said.
He also commented that at the time it was very difficult for him to get through that process and that is why he felt that he had not been able to achieve the family he dreamed of.
“Today I see it and think differently, but of course, I have a different maturity,” he said.
She added that despite the fact that they separated, she and Toni have achieved excellent communication, thinking about their daughter’s well-being.
“In the beginning, no divorce ends so beautifully that it doesn’t affect you in some way,” he said.
Adamari López assured that at the time he did think that a divorce was not well regarded by society, but then he began to understand that it was something normal.
Although several years have passed since she broke up with Toni Costa, the Puerto Rican draws attention when she talks about this topic, due to the media coverage of her relationship with the choreographer.
With the passage of time, both have been able to cope with their differences and that is why they share together with their daughter, something that undoubtedly helps her have a healthy environment to grow up. For this reason, many consider them to be exemplary in this aspect.
Adamari López’s statements made some of her colleagues, like Amara La Negra, congratulate her, because she had the strength to leave a marriage in which she was not happy.
“I admire you very much, Ada, I admire them very much,” Amara said.
For her part, the host indicated: “Today I see divorce differently because I see myself from a different perspective, of a woman who has known how to fight for the things she wants, who has known how to get ahead and I do not depend on any man who is at my side. around”.
