The Guzmán-Pinal dynasty met again on Saturday afternoon to celebrate love.

After 26 years, Enrique Guzmán once again set foot at the residence of his ex-wife Silvia Pinal, located in Jardines del Pedregal in CDMX to witness, celebrate and even sing at the wedding of his granddaughter Giordana with Justin Engel.

Luis Enrique Guzmán’s daughter married a young foreigner after four years of dating.

The civil ceremony took place in the home of the first actress, making it an intimate and memorable celebration, according to Efigenia Ramos, Doña Silvia’s assistant, who also took care of many details of the party.

The 92-year-old matriarch of the Pinal dynasty was happy at the celebration.

Her doctor authorized her to be taken out of her room for a while to join the party, but she was so happy that she stayed longer.

“The wedding was yesterday (Saturday) at the house. My boss came down for a while, she was there and asked the boyfriend: ‘Are you nervous, güero?’. The thing is, the groom is very fair, he is of Spanish and Dutch origin,” said Ramos.

The bride looked beautiful, she was very happy like all the guests, he explained.

“I removed the living room and I removed the dining room,” Efi shared when giving some details of the place in the house where the party took place. “And there I did it. “Everything was great.”

The bride’s aunt, Alejandra Guzmán, could not miss the wedding and was also excited to see the happiness of the couple.

“She hit the fan, she sang ‘Loca’. Enrique Guzmán was also present and sang.”

Guzmán, who was married to Pinal from 1967 to 1976, returned to his ex’s house after many years.

“The last time he was there was at Alejandra’s wedding, in 1998,” Efi confirmed. On that occasion, Guzmán celebrated her wedding in Mexico with Farell Goodman. She had previously been married in Miami.

“I remember the date well because my boss’s mother, Mrs. María Luisa, who died in 1999, was still there at that wedding,” said the assistant.

The celebration was held in a very cordial manner. Enrique went up to the stage installed in the living room of Pinal’s house, and delighted the guests with the performance of “Payasito”.

“I made the food: I made baked spaghetti and spaghetti with seafood, two types so that people would eat differently. I also made honey salmon, mashed potatoes and we served three types of salads.”

The civil wedding celebration began at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and concluded at the stroke of midnight.

A total of 60 guests met with the Guzmán-Pinal dynasty to participate in the wedding of Gío and Jus.

“The doctor gave my boss permission for one hour, but she spent more than three hours downstairs (at the party), she didn’t want to get up. “She was very happy and ate everything,” shared Efi.

Alejandra shared a photograph with the bride on Instagram, confirming that it was a very special day for the family.

“What a spectacular, beautiful and unique day to celebrate such a beautiful love. Congratulations to Justin and Gío, I’m proud of you,” the rocker wrote.
