The singer Shakira has just released her latest album, “La Mujeres Ya No Lloran”, and to promote it, she is immersed in intense communication with the media. In a recent interview, she was encouraged to look at her professional past with a lot of humor, to the point of confessing which of her interpretations make her a little sad when she listens to them.

In a broadcast of “Hot Ones”, in which the interviewees are subjected to trying all kinds of spicy seasonings, the host of the series asked the artist: “What makes you shudder or cringe when you listen to material from your beginnings? ”. And without hesitation and laughing, she responded: “Ahg, so many things.”

Without giving too much thought, Shakira specified which of her old songs she doesn’t like too much, because of the way you performed them: “I think I overacted the screams in my voice. The “Lo le lo le lo le”, the truth is that it was too much, I think I was going too far, that I was exaggerating, that it was too much Shakira,” she stated.

Later, the Colombian explained why she considers that she no longer likes some of her ways of singing, typical of her initial stages.

“Over time I realized that after being pregnant, my voice became deeper, more rounded, fuller. But also my choices are more mature and I evolved as a woman, so as a person my intelligence also matured,” she said.

And finally, she highlighted: “I think my voice continues to change over the years, and I always tell that to my children. Sometimes I listen to some of my music with them, although not on purpose, but sometimes it just appears maybe on the radio or in a playlist, and I think that before it was a disaster. But I think I evolved, and I am much more satisfied now with myself as an artist, but that is just my way of seeing things,” she said.
