Robert Lewandowski was once again Barcelona’s hero by scoring a hat trick in the second half to come back from 1-2 down and lead his team to a 4-2 victory against Valencia at the Estadio Olimpico Lluís Companys.

With this hat trick, the Polish striker reaches 16 goals in LaLiga EA Sports and places himself in third position in the top scorers table, tied with Ante Budimir (Osasuna).

Lewandowski had not scored three goals in the same game since last season, when he did so in a Champions League match against Plzen.

The match began with Valencia taking the lead on the scoreboard thanks to goals from Hugo Duro and Pepelu, from a penalty. However, Barcelona reacted in the second half and tied with a header from Lewandowski after a corner kick.

The Barça team continued to press and finally achieved the comeback with two new goals from the Pole, one of them from a direct free kick in added time.

Fermín López also scored, who reached five goals, and for Valencia Hugo Duro, who reached 13 to tie in that position with Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid) and Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid). His teammate, Pepelu, scored her fifth goal of the season from a penalty and reached half a dozen hits.

The victory allows Barcelona to regain second place in the League, while Valencia remains in eleventh place.
