Next May 4, the long-awaited fight between Canelo Álvarez and Jaime Munguía will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in what will be Tapatío’s first confrontation against a Mexican since 2017 when he faced and defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

The fight has aroused the interest of many because it will be Canelo Álvarez’s return to the ring months after his victory against Jermell Charlo, in a fight that, although it seemed like it could end in a knockout, was ultimately closed by decision of the judges. .

As usual, Tapatío chose May 4 as part of the holiday weekend and will have the challenge of not only continuing to increase its record of victories (60-2-2), but also if it triumphs against Munguía it would be able to break with the undefeated that the challenging boxer brings (43-0-0).

Being one of the most anticipated events of the year, the fight between Canelo Álvarez and Jaime Munguía is expected to have various broadcasts not only in Mexico and the United States but throughout the world, both on conventional TV and on streaming platforms.

In the United States the fight can be seen as a Pay Per View (PPV) event and on DAZN, although the prices for the fight on PPV have not been established, while through streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video the fight will be available at contract the subscription.
