Host of “Al Rojo Vivo” makes her debut as an actress and wants more projects, but without kisses

Lourdes Stephen, the host of “Al Rojo Vivo,” ventured into acting, and she liked the experience so much that now she wants more. The journalist still does not believe that she has acted in “The Bride of the Atlantic”, a film together with Iván Sánchez.

“It happened because I know Celinés Toribio, she is a great Dominican producer and actress and presenter. And so, well, we have been talking. I spoke at one of the conferences she had and she was telling me that she was going to make a film and I said ‘oh, don’t tell me! Well, I want to make the movie,’ but joking; I mean yes but no, until one day she told me ‘Lourdes, I have a role for you in the movie’, and I said ‘what?’, and I said, seriously? Yes, I’m going there!’

“I asked for permission, they said yes my love and I was already on their plane in the Dominican Republic there: “Action!”

What kind of role do you play in the film?
My paper. No, I’m not like one of the good people. I mean, like the other group, yes…

But it’s an experience he definitely wants to repeat. “When I was in the thick of the film, the makeup and the issue, I liked it. I liked it, but I don’t think I’d make a movie like that with kissing scenes, no! Oh, because for me, I’m very sad, I’m very sad and it bothers me that no, I don’t I dare I do not know, I do not know”.

Lourdes interviewed her co-star, Iván Sánchez, and that’s when she realized what this opportunity means to her.

“I tell him, oh, Ivan! good luck with this project. And he tells me no, no, no! Not very lucky, it’s that if things go well for me, things go well for you, because we are in the same boat. We are in the same project. And I was like, my God, I’m in a movie with Iván Sánchez, hahaha! and there it hit me and I said wow! I’m excited, I still can’t believe it, am I red?”
