The Peruvian Paolo Guerrero, who plays for César Vallejo, was one of his compatriots who was worried about what had happened to him, to the point that he placed his hands on his head as an expression of surprise at what was happening.

“The first medical tests have ruled out bone damage, but they have confirmed a ligament compromise in the knee,” the team said.

If it is confirmed that the injury affected the knee ligaments, Yotún could be out of the field for 6 to 8 months, which would compromise his participation in the next Copa América.
