After the viralization of various videos in which Thalía, Becky G and Alejandra Espinoza supposedly got into a fight during the celebration of the Latin American Music Awards 2024, on April 25, the “Amor A La Mexicana” singer clarified the situation through their social networks.
In these videos, you can see the Latin presenters on the stage of the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in the city of Las Vegas. Although the exact moment in which the small clip was recorded is not known, it is clear that Thalía is speaking in the distance to Alejandra Espinosa and Becky G, who seem to respond to what was said by the Mexican, who is shown with her back turned in the video, in a sharp and direct way.
Due to the above, a large number of users on various social networks began to spread a variety of theories indicating that the trio of presenters had a fight that originated because Thalía complained to Alejandra Espinoza that she was wearing a dress very similar to hers, which which caused Becky G to defend Espinoza and respond to Thalía.
What did Thalía say about the alleged fight?
After the rapid dissemination of these videos, it was the Mexican actress who also decided to break the silence and clarify the situation through her own social networks. In a short clip, the singer confessed that said talk was focused solely on the shows that Becky G and Thalía offered at the Latin event.
What Becky G and I were talking about was our performances. She told us that the shoes she wore on the show had not been worn in rehearsal and the floor was slippery. So I told her that that’s why she always rehearsed with the shoes that I wear when I go to sing.”
In addition to the above, the “Who Cares” singer revealed that what happened between her and Becky G was a matter of “mere camaraderie.”
After Thalía’s clarification, the other person involved in the alleged lawsuit, Becky G, also raised her voice through her social networks to clarify the situation.
Mythical, gossipy people, she (Thalía) said it, not me. What I am going to say is, don’t believe everything you see on the internet.”
During the recent celebration of the Latin American Music Awards 2024, Thalía, Alejandra Espinoza, Carlos Ponce and Becky G made up the team of presenters. In the same ceremony, Colombians Karol G and Feid became the top winners of the night by obtaining 6 awards each.
