One of the best midfielders in football in recent times, Toni Kroos, does not know so far what will become of his future with Real Madrid as he has less than two months left on his contract and leaves no clues about his future.

In a press conference after Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw as a visitor at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich, Kroos was asked about what will come after the season and without limitation denied that he had made a decision.

“No, (laughs after being questioned about his contract). I am in a good moment. “I want to win the most this season and I don’t think about the future,” said the midfielder.

Regarding the result, he believes that it benefits both teams and believes that everything will be decided in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“The result matters to both of us. We have had good moments and moments of suffering, which is normal in a Champions League semi-final. The result is good, we have shown our face here and now for the return. I hope it is an advantage (playing at the Bernabéu). Normally it is, but it has to be done again,” he declared.

The German midfielder was one of the best players of the match, with his assist to Vinícius to make it 1-0 as the best moment.

“There is a lot of credit for Vini. I saw that their central defender follows Vinícius, I know him and I knew that he was going to go to space. The movement he has made has been important. If you have players like Vinícius it gives you the possibility of doing these things. He is fast and smart,” he replied.

Finally, Kroos avoided talking about Kylian Mbappé and his possible arrival at Real Madrid, as well as refusing to describe Vinícius as the best in the world currently.

“It’s future. They are not going to get together for the return trip so it is not my topic. (As for Vinícius Jr) I don’t know, it’s difficult. This may change every week or every two weeks. Vinícius is surely one of them, and we have more. A week ago people said he was Jude (Bellingham), now he’s Vini,” he concluded.
