As mentioned by Farber, the new trial, in which both the Prosecutor’s Office and the American’s legal team agreed to be held, would take place days after the next Labor Day in the United States, on September 2.

Despite the recent annulment of Weinstein’s trial, he will remain in custody due to the conviction he received in 2020, in the city of Los Angeles, for another rape case, and for which he was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
