Portuguese attacker Cristiano Ronaldo had a brilliant performance in Al Nassr’s 6-0 win against Al Wahda on matchday 30 of the Saudi Pro League.

One of the best players in history led the way to victory with a hat trick in front of his fans at the Al-Awwal Stadium and his team achieved its seventh consecutive victory in the local competition.

In the fourth minute, Ronaldo took advantage of a poor mid-range effort by the goalkeeper, Munir Mohamedi, to take possession of the ball, position himself for the shot, and execute a slipping shot that entered the net against a post.

Before the quarter-hour mark, he struck again with a header to make it 2-0 in just over 11 minutes played in Riyadh and had to wait to complete his personal production until the 51st minute, when he won one-on-one against the goalkeeper.

The other celebrations of Otávio, Sadio Mané and Mohammed Al Fatil completed the work of those led by Luis Castro, although the note of the day revolved around the Bicho, who continues to reduce the differences to achieve a record in world football: converting 900 goals.

Cristiano after his new triplet

“As I always say, I don’t follow these records, they follow me naturally. If not this season, I will reach 900 goals in the next. I am very happy to have helped the team and the title race is not over yet. “We started the season by winning the Arab Club Cup and we want to finish the season by winning the Copa del Rey,” said the Portuguese.

The top scorer in history accumulates 890 shouts in 1,219 matches throughout his career. The impressive figures from his stay in Saudi Arabia made him approach this mark with 61 goals in 63 appearances since his arrival at Al Nassr in early 2023.

To these numbers, we must add what was done in Real Madrid (450), Manchester United (145), Juventus (101), Sporting Lisbon (5) and the Portuguese national team (123).
