The home of Oscar-winning actor Will Smith became the center of an alarming situation that required the intervention of the Los Angeles police due to the presence of a person outside the property.
According to the specialized media TMZ, last Wednesday, May 1, an individual named Robert Ogden, 37, was seen hanging around the residence of the “Independence Day” singer.
Ogden then approached the house to ask about a person other than the actor. Due to the above, a security team guarding the residence ordered the subject to leave. However, and due to Robert’s persistence, local authorities were notified to report what happened.
Before the Los Angeles police showed up, the subject disappeared. But a few hours later, the same individual entered Smith’s property without warning and violating all security measures on the property.
What did Will Smith do?
After Ogden entered the property, Will Smith’s security team intervened and detained the intruder and then handed him over to the Californian authorities.
After his arrest, and as revealed by the same media, Robert Ogden was detained for a misdemeanor in addition to not being released on bail because he was considered a danger to the American actor.
Despite all of the above, the “Men In Black” singer was not on his property at the time Ogden entered.
This is not the first time in which the actor’s environment has been endangered by the presence of invaders. In previous months, Smith’s ex-wife, Jada Pinkett, became news after it was revealed that two individuals tried to access her property in the city of Los Angeles.
However, compared to what happened recently with Will, Jada was at home, causing a great surprise to the thieves and the actress herself, so they decided to flee immediately.
To date, and after the incident, those responsible for the raid have not been found. Consequently, it has not been determined whether the intention of the criminals was to rob the place or try something against the “Matrix Reloaded” performer.
Other celebrities, such as the actor Keanu Reeves, were also victims of robbery on their property when several individuals entered his house, when he was not there, and stole a series of valuable objects.
Likewise, and this same year, actor Charlie Sheen was involved in a domestic conflict after a neighbor entered his property and tried to harm him for no apparent reason.
