Amid the controversy between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, it has been reported that a security guard for the Canadian rapper was hospitalized after being shot in the chest.
What has attracted the most attention about what happened is that the man, whose name is still unknown, was injured while he was very close to Drake’s mansion in Toronto, Canada.
According to various media, the police approached the area on Tuesday morning, May 6. It should be noted that the mansion is located in The Bridle Path, one of the most expensive and exclusive neighborhoods in Toronto. It is even nicknamed “Millionaires Row.”
It has been reported that when police arrived at the scene, the man was unconscious. However, it is assured that the life of the security guard is not in danger.
At the moment, investigations are still being carried out into what happened, at the same time that the injured man was being treated, the property was cordoned off by the authorities. They have also told the media that Drake’s entire team is collaborating with the investigations.
What is currently being handled is that a person was shooting down the street from a car and one of the bullets hit the man. At the moment the suspect – or suspects – have not been captured.
Of course, the most alarming thing for everyone was whether the rapper was there at the time of the shooting, but the truth is that it is not even known if he was inside the property.
