NYC Votes is promoting early voting, in person or by mail, in the 2024 election for all New Yorkers eligible to vote.
Early voting gives voters more flexibility, reduces wait times on Election Day, and eases the burden on poll workers.
Where and how to vote before Election Day in November
To vote in person, you must vote at your assigned early voting site, please note that your early voting site may be different from your Election Day voting site, so be sure to check where you should vote early before to go.
Remember that early in-person voting begins 10 days before Election Day and ends the Sunday before Election Day.
Starting this year, New York’s Early Voter by Mail Law allows all voters to vote early by mail and is no longer required to provide a reason for choosing to vote by mail.
