A fifteen-year-old girl fought bravely to avoid being raped by a man who approached her while she was walking through a park in the Bronx (NYC).
The attack happened around 5 pm on May 18 in Pelham Bay Park, near Orchard Beach. The police revealed yesterday that they have a spoken portrait of the suspect that was drawn with the help of the young woman.
The teenager told police that she was walking in the park when the stranger approached her. The man pretended to show him her phone and suddenly put her in a headlock and dragged her off the road into a forest of straw. But the young woman managed to defend herself against her and the suspect was seen running out of the park.
